At the TEC, we have developed the facilities, equipment, and experience for conducting and analyzing a wide variety of vehicle handling tests, including rollover resistance, NHTSA fishhook, and stability control tests. The testing is conducted on site, utilizing our ten-acre skidpad and two-mile oval test track. Immediate feedback of recorded test data is provided by our custom handling-test data acquisition system. The Automated Steering Controller can be installed if precise and repeatable steering inputs are required.

We have experience with a wide array of measurement sensors, including mechanical and solid-state gyroscopes; mechanical, optical, and GPS velocity sensors; steering-angle and torque sensors; proximity sensors; and precision accelerometers. Light-weight outriggers and other safety equipment are available for the protection of the test drivers.
