Overview


Exponent's Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety includes technical specialists on the Chemical Regulation side of the Center in chemistry, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, environmental modeling, and human health and environmental exposure and risk assessment. On the Food Safety side of the Center our technical expertise includes microbiology, nutrition, statistics, public health, toxicology, and exposure and safety assessments and modeling. Our multi-disciplinary approach provides in-depth understanding of the scientific issues related to chemicals (pesticide and non-pesticide) and foods and the insight of technical expertise into the development of effective regulatory and technical strategies. With scientific teams on both sides of the Atlantic, Exponent’s Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety is adept at addressing issues in the US, EU and globally.

While many of our projects require a multi-disciplinary team, many others are focused solely on specific technical issues. Our staff in the Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety are able to focus on specific scientific issues as well as take the broader regulatory contextual view. With the full cadre of technical specialists coupled with our full-time regulatory consultants, the Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety is prepared to address farm to fork issues for the food chain as well as an array of other issues pertaining to chemicals, foods and consumer products.
