Exponent Staff Publish Chapters in Two New Textbooks

Dr. Johan Ivarsson, Managers in the Biomechanics Practice based in Phoenix, authored two chapters in the recently published textbook Pediatric Injury Biomechanics.  Dr. Ivarsson was lead author on a chapter entitled "Experimental Injury Biomechanics of the Pediatric Extremities and Pelvis" and was co-author on another chapter entitled "Experimental Injury Biomechanics of the Pediatric Thorax and Abdomen".  This book consolidates and describes the current state of the art in pediatric injury biomechanics research in the automotive crash environment. Dr. Daniel Liu, Senior Associate in the Polymer Science & Materials Chemistry Practice in Bowie, was a co-author of a chapter entitled "Mechanical Properties of Thermosets" in a book published by Woodhead Publishing entitled Thermosets: Structure, Properties and Applications. The textbook is an essential guide for engineers, chemists, physicists and polymer scientists involved in the development, production and application of thermoset polymers.  Copies of the textbook are available for purchase here.
