Dr. Catherine Ford Corrigan (Principal and Corporate Vice President, Biomechanics Practice) has been invited to participate in the National Academy of Engineering's 2008 U.S. Frontiers of Engineering Symposium. The symposium will be hosted by Sandia National Laboratories at the University of New Mexico beginning Thursday, September 18. This symposium brings together a select group of the nation's outstanding engineers, ages 30-45, from industry, academia, and government to discuss pioneering technical work and leading-edge research in various engineering fields and industry sectors. For more than 10 years, the National Academy of Engineering has identified the best young engineers from large and small companies, research universities, and government laboratories and brought them together through the Frontiers of Engineering symposia to discuss their leading-edge research and innovation across widely disparate disciplines.
