Five consultants from Exponent: Martha Doemland, Jon Fryzek, Jeanne Manson, Marta Villarraga, and Doug Yoon participated in First Korea-US Health Technology Partnerships Conference held in New York in late October. The conference was tailored to promote collaboration between Korean and US pharmaceutical and medical device companies. The conference drew a lot of attention from Korean companies resulting from the recent approval of Korea-US Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA) by the U.S. Congress.
Dr. Jon Fryzek presented “Reimbursement Strategy during the Drug Development Phase in the US.” The presentation addressed the importance of developing a strategy directed at pricing and reimbursement issues early on in the drug development process Dr. Doug Yoon introduced Exponent” capabilities in a presentation entitled, “From Failure Analysis to Development Partnership.” Dr. Yoon’s presentation introduced the capabilities and multi-disciplinary approach utilized by Exponent and demonstrated how Exponent could collaborate with Korean pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Both of the presentations were extremely well received.
