Mr. Tom Long Appointed Principal Member to the Technical Committee on Hot Work Operations

Mr. Tom Long was recently appointed to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on for Hot Work Operations. The Committee is responsible for NFPA 51B: Standard for Fire Prevention During Welding, Cutting, and Other Hot Work. This document provides criteria to prevent loss of life and property from fire or explosion as a result of hot work as well as the operation of gas cutting and welding equipment.
