A musculoskeletal model of the rat hindlimb was made for a university research group. The research group needed this model to investigate neural control mechanisms associated with locomotion, and how these changed following a neural injury. The model included musculotendon pathways for the muscles, and models of the hip, knee, and ankle joints.
