Slope Stability and Landslides Professional Development Course

Ms. Elizabeth Lincoln Mathieson, P.G., C.E.G. will be speaking on Slope Stability and Landslides on March 10, 2011 in Santa Clara, California, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison – University of California Extension – Department of Engineering Professional Development Training Course.

This Professional Development course is for professionals interested in:

  • Gaining a working knowledge of effective engineering approaches to identify and analyze unstable slopes
  • Understanding how landslides and other slope displacements caused by natural and human activities are identified, prevented, and controlled
  • Knowing the importance of engineering, geology and local experience in effectively dealing with landslides and slope instabilities
