"Projections of Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in the United States from 2005 to 2030"

Exponent engineers and scientists Steven M. Kurtz, Ph.D., Kevin L. Ong, Ph.D., Edmund C. Lau, M.S., Fionna S. Mowat, Ph.D., E.I.T. and Michael Halpern, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H. recently published an article in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery on the projected increase in the number of revision total hip and knee arthroplasties performed in the United States. The purpose of this study was to formulate projections for the number of primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasties that will be performed in the United States through 2030.
