NFPA Appointment

Exponent Managing Engineer Filippo Gavelli, Ph.D. has been appointed as an alternate member to the NFPA technical committee on Liquefied Natural Gas. The committee has primary responsibility for documents on safety and related aspects in the liquefaction of natural gas and the transport, storage, vaporization, transfer, and use of liquefied natural gas. The committee is responsible for NFPA 59A, the Standard for the Production, Storage, and Handling of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
