
Ms. Maples has management and engineering expertise in all phases of the development and construction project, including early stage project programming and entitlement, feasibility and constructability analysis, civil engineering design, on-site and hands-on construction management, and claims analysis.
Ms. Maples began her career with a small multidisciplinary engineering firm in Marina del Rey, CA. With this firm, she was exposed to a wide variety of projects, from analysis of earthquake damaged private residences to acting as the assistant scheduler on a complex $10M theater renovation of a high-profile historic building, with tight time constraints tied to a show opening. While in California, Ms. Maples went on to work as the owners’ representative on two major university projects, including contract administration, scheduling, oversight of the general contractor, and reviewing the work of 3 project inspectors.
Ms. Maples has also worked for a dispute resolution firm, providing schedule delay, project management, and construction damage analysis for various projects ranging from power plants to light rail and other commercial projects. She has extensive experience with preparing project schedules for forward-moving projects as well as performing delay analysis of completed projects and segments of work.
Most recently, Ms. Maples has been overseeing the entitlement and project programming for a private developer on the Washington Coast. She was responsible for negotiating the settlement of an 8-year long dispute between the permitting agencies, the developer, and local environmental groups for the entitlement of a 350-acre oceanfront golf resort.
