"After nine winters in Ithaca, I joined Exponent with great anticipation for an entry-level engineer position in sunny California. Instead of a job, I found a career. Throughout this time I've worn multiple hats, on both coasts, for the firm. In some projects I have been a 'behind the scenes' technical professional, and in others I have been an 'in front of the camera' scientific communicator.
