The Biomechanics Practice is comprised of consultants with diverse technical backgrounds. A majority of our consultants possess a Ph.D. or M.D. in disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, among others. We have an opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects with a number of other practices, including Vehicle Engineering, Human Factors, Statistical & Data Sciences, our Health Sciences Group, and more.

In addition to the practice's technical consulting work, there is a large emphasis on professional development. Many of our Biomechanics consultants have held academic appointments at various universities in the past, and some continue to do so while at Exponent. We devote the time and energy to publish our work in peer-reviewed publications as often as possible. We also attend and give technical presentations at various conferences each year. Working in the Biomechanics Practice would give you a great opportunity to work in industry, while maintaining academic ties and some level of research activity. Joining this practice would give you the opportunity to work with an elite group of well-known individuals in the Biomechanics community.
