Our consultants are able to perform the majority of their work at our own offices. Your typical day will have you coming into an Exponent office, rather than working onsite at a client. Travel is often limited to an occasional client meeting, field inspection, or to attend an industry conference. Our offices contain the best available technologies, laboratories, and information that provide our consultants with everything they need to be successful.
For example, our Information Resources team has an extensive library of on-line and technical materials, including in- and out-of-print books, journals, conference proceedings, standards, patents, dockets, government publications, maps, photographs, videos, and statistical reports. Our network of offices also contain a large variety of laboratory services, such as
electrical and thermal performance testing,
geotechnical testing,
fire and flammability testing,
medical implant testing, and
SmartCard testing. Our
Test and Engineering Center in Phoenix is a sophisticated testing center for our most exciting and complex tests.
All of this gives our consultants the ability to work hard during business hours, but also maintain a healthy balance with their personal life. In addition to hiring the best and the brightest individuals, we employ people with a variety of outside interests including flying their own airplanes, playing in softball and hockey leagues, and ballroom dancing. Our consultants have opportunities to interact in social settings and many have developed long-lasting friendships with their colleagues and their families.
