
Mr. Kolnik has 4 years of experience developing software using C#, .Net, WPF/XAML, DirectX, C/C++, Java, XML, and MFC for Windows PC’s and Pocket PC devices. He specializes in Object Oriented Design, the software development process and creating application for the Microsoft Windows platforms.
Since arriving at Exponent, Mr. Kolnik has worked on several projects involving video, surveillance, satellite communications, situational awareness, and low-level device interfacing.
Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Kolnik worked as a Software Engineer for Apriva where he developed a secure, mobile email application.

Selected Software ApplicationsTeam Mission Assistant (TeamMATE)—Developer of the Tactical/Exercise embedded training software application. The software allows soldiers to participate in live or simulated group training and rehearsal sessions. Following the session, soldiers can use the software to conduct after-action reviews with major events clearly presented on a chronological timeline.
Rapid Deployment Integrated Surveillance System (RDISS)—Developer of the video surveillance application. The software allows a soldier to archive and view video from up to sixteen live feeds at once.
