Mr. McCarthy specializes in visual communication techniques including still photography, technical and scientific photography, small, medium and large format film, digital photography and imaging, motion picture, video, and high-speed film. Mr. McCarthy assists engineering staff with accident reconstruction and documents accident and site investigations using photography and video. He is responsible for photographic and video evidence, archive and storage, video post-production and development and creation of demonstrative evidence, aerial video and photography, electronic presentation systems for courtrooms and multimedia.
Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. McCarthy worked as a Senior Mural Printer at Newell Color Lab, San Francisco and as a freelance photographer for such companies as Levi Strauss, The GAP, and Jessica McClintock.
