Exponent Named One of 100 Fastest Growing Small Companies in America

MENLO PARK, Calif., June 22, 2004 - Exponent, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXPO) today announced that is has been named to the FSB 100 - FORTUNE Small Business magazine's fourth annual ranking of the 100 fastest growing small companies in America. The list, which is comprised of public companies, appears in the July/August 2004 issue of FORTUNE Small Business, available on newsstands July 5 and at www.fsb.com.
