Professional Profile

Mr. Cuseo has 6 years of experience in the automotive industry performing research and development, design, and calibration of powertrains and components. He has specialized expertise in the design and development of precision sensor technologies used to measure torque and rate-of-change torque in rotary applications. Mr. Cuseo has practical experience in the application of engineering principles in the motor vehicle industry and areas associated with electro-mechanical system designs, and is familiar with FMVSS regulations and the testing associated with demonstrating compliance with those standards.

Prior to joining Exponent Mr. Cuseo was a Design & Development Engineer at MagCanica, Inc., specializing in the design of electromechanical sensor systems for motorsport and aerospace applications, including Formula 1 race vehicles and military rotorcraft. Additionally, Mr. Cuseo performed engine dynamometer research and development at Ford Motor Company, and, as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, evaluated engine control strategy and its relationship to emission production. As a vehicle calibrator he became familiar with EPA and CARB emissions regulations as well as OBD-II on-board diagnostics.

Mr. Cuseo was a founding member of TVEyes, Inc., an information technology based start-up company. TVEyes introduced a revolutionary technology to the media-monitoring industry through the development of proprietary computer hardware and software technology, enabling real-time monitoring, transcribing, and archiving of broadcast television and radio content.
