
Ms. Iyer specializes in synthesizing data, evaluating adverse events, and applying statistical methodology to determine an appropriate course of action. She has experience in statistical analysis and data management. Some of her recent work includes consumer product risk assessment, development of sampling methods, analysis of survey data, multivariate analysis, and estimating passenger vehicle safety based on field performance data.
Ms Iyer has a background in computer engineering and statistics. Prior to joining Exponent, Ms Iyer worked as a statistician at the University of California, San Francisco, Center for Aids Prevention Studies. She analyzed and managed clinical data in the areas of breast cancer and AIDS prevention. Among her projects, she used statistical techniques like logistic regression to determine various factors that explain repeat screening mammography adherence.
