Ms. Carse has 4 years of experience in the construction management field and has worked for a subcontractor in the U.S. and acted as an owner’s representative in the U.K. She has worked on projects in both the construction and project closeout phases. Her experience includes reviewing contractor submittals, undertaking quality and safety inspections, pricing design changes, writing weekly and monthly progress reports, and managing material procurement.
Prior to joining Exponent, Ms. Carse worked as a Project Engineer for a wall and ceiling specialty contractor in the San Francisco area, and most recently, as a Project Engineer on the extension of the East London Underground line. Some of the construction projects that she was involved with include retrofit work of a brick arch viaduct with structural steel bridges, a shopping center core and shell, a university sports recreation center, and an art museum.
