Professional Profile


Dr. Mukherjee specializes in biomedical engineering technologies with an expertise in drug design and delivery, immunology, and pharmaceutical systems. She previously served as a Technical Advisor at an intellectual property law firm conducting technology assessment, due diligence research and was responsible for analyses leading to patent procurement for biotech and pharmaceutical clients.

Dr. Mukherjee has extensive research experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Her work has focused mostly on design and delivery of therapeutic drugs for cancer diagnostic and therapy. She has previous experience as the chief technical lead of her own company which concentrated on developing a novel assay for viral diagnostics for use in third-world countries. Dr. Mukherjee also has a background in numerical methods used to design and analyze rigid and deformable biomedical and physiological structures.
