Two congressional investigations have concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin, but was he? In 1992, Exponent engineers and scientists re-examined some of the evidence for the American Bar Association’s mock trial presentation: “The United States v. Lee Harvey Oswald.” We conducted biomechanics, ballastics and human factors evaluations to assess whether one gunman, or two, was responsible for the crime.
