Our Electrical & Semiconductors Practice consists of individuals with advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Electric Power Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, among others. Many of our projects are multidisciplinary efforts with Exponent's other engineering practices. Some of the topics that we routinely work on include: electric power systems and equipment, electric power transmission and distribution systems, electric and magnetic field effects, electric shock and electrocution, fires with possible electric origin, semiconductor devices of all kinds, electronics components, application of semiconductor devices in various systems, instrumentation and control systems, communication systems, computer and similar electronic systems, energy storage systems, transportation systems, computer software, reliability and intellectual property issues.
