Careers in Visual Communication

VCOM's multimedia artists are involved in the research, development, layout, and production of technical illustrations and graphics. We produce charts, two-dimensional and three-dimensional illustrations, and animations that are technical in nature. We are extremely capable at distilling technical information and complex issues into concise and compelling visuals. Our visual imaging technicians handle requests for video processing, video post-production, and preparation of digital video finished products for client use. We also have the opportunity to manage individual projects for scientific visuals and provide visualization services to internal and external clients. Our staff is experienced in computer animation, graphics, multimedia, photography, digital imaging, video, DVD, and more. As a member of the VCOM staff, you will have the opportunity to utilize your talents and expertise to the fullest.

Visual Communication Team

Our group works side-by-side with our engineering and scientific consultants on a wide variety of challenging projects. Using state-of-the-art software, we create everything from simple slide presentations to complex 3D animations and multimedia presentations. Our photographers and video specialists are often asked to travel to accident sites to document the scene. We are highly regarded by our clients for our professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to meet critical deadlines. We have created demonstratives for many significant projects throughout Exponent's history, and our work has been featured on major broadcast and cable networks.
