Static tests conducted by Exponent on vehicle structures
have included standardized tests of door and roof systems.
The TEC maintains six hydraulic power supplies that can be
used in conjunction with a programmable servo-hydraulic control
system utilizing position and/or load feedback. This equipment
can be configured in conjunction with reaction structures
to conduct virtually any static load test.
| Exponent has also conducted structural tests on heavy
truck cabs, seat recliner mechanisms, aircraft seats and
restraints, bicycles, and aircraft fuselages. We have
conducted fatigue testing of axles, compressed natural
gas fuel tanks, and amusement ride components, among others.
