Mr. Cloke has over 7 years of experience as a regulatory toxicologist, including over 5 years’ experience in non-dietary exposure assessment of plant protection products, biocides and chemicals, gained as a member of the Exponent’s Health Sciences Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety, based in Harrogate, UK.

Mr. Cloke has extensive experience in a wide range of human health exposure models for pesticides (Directive 91/414/EEC and Reagulation 1107/2009), biocides (Directive 98/8/EC and Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR)) and industrial and consumer chemicals (REACh), for use both at European Union and individual Member State Level. He has developed strategies to address specific regulatory toxicology and exposure concerns, which have included the use of higher tier exposure assessment approaches. Mr. Cloke routinely derives reference doses and proposes classification for a wide range of substances including pesticides, biocides, industrial and consumer chemicals and food contact materials.

Prior to joining Exponent’s Health Sciences Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Mr. Cloke worked for Exponent, providing in-house toxicological expertise and input to a leading global manufacturer of household cleaning supplies and other consumer chemicals, applying his toxicological expertise and input to address EU biocide, DPD, DSD, GHS CLP, DR and REACH regulatory requirements.
