Mr. Kuhn is highly knowledgeable in the design, development, and testing of vehicles, engines, and chassis systems for automotive, SUV, truck, and other vehicle applications. During his 19 years of industry employment, with Chrysler and Ford, Mr. Kuhn was responsible for a variety of assignments including complete vehicle development and testing, engine testing and development, chassis systems design and development, and product warranty and complaint analysis. While working at DaimlerChrysler, Mr. Kuhn also served as the supervisor of the chassis investigations group for the DaimlerChrysler Vehicle Safety Office with responsibility for all chassis related internal and external (NHTSA) safety investigations.

Since joining Exponent, Mr. Kuhn has assisted a variety of clients in both vehicle and non-vehicle related industries. These clients include automotive OEMs, component and system manufacturers, off-road vehicle manufacturers, engine manufacturers, service parts suppliers, insurance companies, and others. Mr. Kuhn utilizes his nearly 30 years of knowledge and experience to assist clients in areas including product design, performance, development, testing, and warranty claims. Mr. Kuhn also has extensive experience in computer-aided engineering and the use of analytical and statistical tools and methods for problem solving, vehicle/product system design, and vehicle/product performance evaluations. As a part of Mr. Kuhn’s work with his clients, he has provided expert testimony in a number of areas and a variety of venues.
