Mr. Stroup specializes in the design review, testing, and safety analysis of mechanical and electrical components. His project experience includes: failure analysis and evaluation of appliances, HVAC systems, motor vehicle components, hand and power tools, food processing equipment, industrial machinery, construction equipment, electro-mechanical switches, thermostatic devices, and power press safety systems. Mr. Stroup is also experienced in the analysis of fire-involved equipment and components to determine their possible role in fire causation. Additionally, he evaluates liquefied petroleum and natural gas appliances and equipment for possible carbon monoxide release, gas leakage, and fire/explosion causation.
