Managing Scientist

Exposure Assessment & Dose Reconstruction

Professional Profile

Mr. Su has more than 15 years of experience conducting quantitative human and ecological risk assessments for chemical, biological, and physical environmental agents. Areas of his work include probabilistic analysis, dose-response analysis, chemical fingerprinting, sediment quality evaluation, air dispersion modeling, food chain/foodweb modeling, angler fish consumption, electric and magnetic field exposure, childhood lead exposure, epidemiology, and evaluation of toxicological data. He provides state-of-the-art scientific support to site assessment, pollutant source allocation analysis, and evaluation of new and existing products. Mr. Su has considerable experience studying the effects of bioaccumulating chemicals, such as dioxins and PCBs, in the environment. He has applied his broad range of experience to coordinate multidisciplinary projects. His work has resulted in more realistic characterization of potential risk from exposure to environmental pollutants to support technically sound and cost-effective risk management actions.
