Mr. Costanzo’s academic background is in the area of international affairs, with a personal interest in environmental regimes, agricultural, and trade policy. At Exponent, Mr. Costanzo provides project support to Exponent's clients with FIFRA regulatory processes for pesticide products. He has supported management of various regulatory-based issues of agro-chemical products and he has collaborated with different U.S. EPA Office of Pesticide Programs Branch Chiefs to conduct research and analysis on pesticides and inert ingredients. Specifically, he has participated in the organizational phases of a joint review process for a new active ingredient, drafted various EPA pesticide fact sheets, written explanatory memos on different regulatory processes and databases, and assisted in the research and analysis of inert ingredients under PRIA. His international experience includes work with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Technical Working Group on Pesticide Harmonization, the Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), and the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) related to pesticides and chemicals.

Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Costanzo worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pesticide Programs, Registration Division. He also has experience in non-profit organizations.
