
Mr. Kratz has a global experience in regulatory ecotoxicology for the purpose of registration of pesticides and biocides within Europe. He is currently responsible for evaluating ecotoxicological data, monitoring laboratory studies, and conducting environmental risk assessments according to EU legislation.
Prior to joining Exponent, he worked as Registration Specialist with two consultancy companies and one Contract Research Organization in Switzerland, for 11 years. Within this position, he was responsible for providing technical support for the registration of agrochemicals (Docs MII and MIII) and biocides, conducting environmental risk assessments, and monitoring ecotoxicological studies. He also acted as Study Director for GLP multi-site residue studies.
In addition, to his regulatory experience, Mr. Kratz worked as Study Scientist for a leading Contract Research Organization in the UK, where he gained experience in the conduct of GLP terrestrial ecotoxicological studies. Mr. Thomas Kratz was also responsible for the classification of plant protection products in Europe.
