The 29th International Ocean and Polar Engineering Conference will take place on June 16-21, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The annual ISOPE conference is one of the world’s largest technical gatherings servicing the petrochemical industry. All papers are peer-reviewed papers and proceedings are indexed by Thomson Scientific and Technical Proceedings (ISTP), Web of Science, Google Scholar, Engineering Index (EI) Compendex, Scopus, and Chemical Abstracts.

Ali Reza, P.E., CFI, principal engineer & office director at Exponent, Brian Ott, Ph.D., P.E., CFEI, senior managing engineer at Exponent, and Carmen Osorio, Ph.D., senior associate at Exponent, will present their paper, The Role of a Piping Material Verification Program to Minimize Loss of Containment Incidents in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Ali Reza, P.E., CFI, principal engineer & office director at Exponent, will be on the technical program committee for the conference and will be a chair on the Asset Integrity Management session and co-chair on the Corrosion Monitoring and Mitigation session. Brian Ott, Ph.D., P.E., CFEI, senior managing engineer at Exponent, will also co-chair the Asset Integrity Management session.
