MGP Conference 2019

The 2019 MPG Conference will be held on October 7-9, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This conference is designed to stimulate knowledge exchange through strong technical presentations, experienced technical panels, and interesting poster topics. Participants will explore the key issues of MGP site management, provide expertise, and illustrate what works and what does not work based on lessons learned.

Susan B. Kane Driscoll, Ph.D., senior managing scientist at Exponent, will present on “Use of Ex Situ Passive Samplers to Measure Bioavailable Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Sediments at a Manufactured Gas Plant Site”, on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday October 8, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Michael W. Kierski, Ph.D., managing scientist at Exponent, will present on “Use of Site-Specific Black Carbon Partition Coefficients for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in a New Multi-Site Sediment Toxicity Model for Manufactured Gas Plant Sites”, on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 8, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. He will also present on “Spatial Variations in Ambient Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon Concentrations in Sediment in a Complex Urban River System”, on Wednesday, October 9, from 11:15 AM to 11:35 AM.
