Georgia Geo-Institute Chapter of ASCE February 2020 Meeting
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Georgia Geo-Institute Chapter will host their February 2020 Meeting on February 18, in Atlanta, Georgia. This seminar will discuss both simple and state-of-the-art computational tools for three problems of pile-soil interaction: pile penetration in soft soils, pile axial capacity, and performance of piles embedded within laterally moving soils.
Antonios Vytiniotis, Ph.D., P.E., managing engineer at Exponent, will present, “Computational Tools and Latest Advances for Three Prominent Pile-Soil Interaction Problems,” on Tuesday, February 18, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
