DRI Construction Law Seminar

Defense Research Institute
April 29–30, 2021
The Defense Research Institute (DRI) will host its Construction Law Seminar virtually on April 29–30, 2021. This seminar will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from insiders on how the construction industry is adjusting to and handling fallout from COVID-19. Learn how COVID-19 may impact building design moving forward, see how technology is being used on jobsites—and the legal implications that result, and hear about the new trends and strategies being employed by plaintiffs in construction litigation.

Paul Bennett, P.E., CBIE, Exponent principal engineer and office director, will speak on the panel titled “COVID-19’s Impact on Building Design: Designing the Future” on Thursday, April 29, at 1:45 PM PT/3:45 PM CT. Historic events lead to changes in the way we think and approach matters in our lives. COVID-19 has introduced us to physical distancing and increased remote working. This panel will discuss how the pandemic will impact current and future design and the need for modifications to existing structures.

Exponent is a proud sponsor of DRI’s 2021 Construction Law Seminar.
