DRI Women in the Law Seminar

The Defense Research Institute (DRI) will host its Women in the Law Seminar virtually on April 28–30, 2021. Seminar attendees will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics, such as how to come through crisis stronger; how the legal profession can achieve growth across the diversity spectrum; how to best enhance and highlight the strengths of your corporate witness; how the pandemic has impacted your clients' approach to their business and risk management; how to silence your inner critic and address anxiety in the legal practice; and more.

Alexis Sauer-Budge, Ph.D., Exponent managing scientist, will speak on the “Wonder Women (and Men) – Lessons Learned in the Pandemic Trenches” panel on Thursday, April 29, at 10:30 AM PT/12:30 PM CT. Reflecting on the fundamental changes to our clients’ businesses, this panel will examine the broad implications the global pandemic has had across different industries. Topics include the science behind infectious diseases, effects on the workplace environment, supply chain impacts, business interruption and liability insurance claims, litigation challenges, and human resources protocols.
