Africa Construction Law (ACL) will host their Africa Construction Law Conference 2022 virtually and in Lagos, Nigeria, May 30–31. This year’s conference features topics centered around the theme “Construction Law in Africa: Turning Hindsight into Foresight” and covers current trends and developments in construction law and infrastructure challenges. Attendees will explore a wide range of issues covering the full financing, contracting, and dispute resolution spectrum as well as areas such as infrastructure investment and sustainability, adjudication, an analysis of several African arbitration seats, and the use of expert witnesses.

On Monday, May 30, at 12:40 PM WAT, Emilio Linde-Arias, Ph.D., CEng, EurGeol, Exponent managing engineer, will speak on a panel titled, “How to Respond When a Counterparty Lets You Down.”
