The Society of Construction Law North America (SCL-NA) will hold its annual conference July 6–8, 2022, in Broomfield, Colorado. Attendees will include a mix of international legal and technical professionals who will share their knowledge and discuss key issues, opportunities, and emerging trends in construction law and project delivery, from feasibility and pre-contract development to dispute resolutions services.

Chase Meyers, Exponent principal, will give a presentation titled “Tactical Perspectives When Presenting Construction Disputes,” offering contrasting perspectives related to domestic and international construction projects from a variety of stakeholders, including owners, contractors, advocates, experts, and arbitrators. Covering issues related to the effective management and submission of claims, when to invoke the dispute resolution process, and which process to invoke, this presentation will focus on real-life experiences and lessons learned about which strategies and tactics have achieved successful results—and which have not.

Ball, Exponent senior manager, Manuel Garcia-Leiner, Ph.D., Exponent senior manager, Michael D.
