Adam French

Adam French is a Senior Architect in Exponent's Buildings and Structures Practice. Mr. French conducts architectural field investigations to inspect and analyze failures of various building and construction issues involving residential and commercial properties. He works to determine the origin, cause, and extent of building envelope failures, water intrusion, roof damage, construction defects, building systems, and premises liability matters. His duties also include reports documenting causes of failure, the extent of loss, and recommended remediation.

Adam French began his career in 1994 at a forensic architecture firm where he learned to inspect and document construction defects in the field. This experience provided him with a solid understanding of detailing and the prevention and remediation of water intrusion. He then progressed from a draftsman to design director, the highest position possible in designing buildings.
