Mr. Bayatyan is a construction consultant specializing in program and construction management in the utility and commercial construction industries. At Exponent, Mr. Bayatyan provides program management support for a large utility client, where he ensures efficient movement of projects through their lifecycle by progress tracking and stakeholder coordination. His scope includes managing projects from initiation to completion in the electric distribution space. Mr. Bayatyan also provides project management support for a fire rebuild effort by project mapping and tracking contractor productivity.

Prior to Exponent, Mr. Bayatyan worked as a Project Engineer Intern on a multiphase development in San Francisco, California. During this period, he provided construction management support for utility installation, earthwork, lightweight cellular concrete, as well as core and shell scopes. In addition, he performed bid analysis, estimating, and subcontractor selection with the goal of accomplishing projects on time and within budget.

Mr. Bayatyan holds a Master's in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus in Engineering Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley. His academic experience focused on lean construction, construction disputes, environmental life-cycle assessments, and land development.
