Mr. Androutselis has over 5 years of experience in the management and design of construction projects. He has worked with international firms in Europe and the USA as a geotechnical engineering consultant and project manager on large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects. Mr. Androutselis has been involved in all stages of projects, from conceptual planning to close out and he has experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multidisciplinary key stakeholders.

As an Exponent consultant, Mr. Androutselis is providing consultancy services to a major utility client on their electric transmission portfolio. He is managing electric transmission and interconnection projects and is responsible for project planning and execution, developing and managing financial forecasts and schedules, identifying and mitigating projects risks, as well as producing business insights on portfolio key performance indicators.

Prior to joining Exponent, during his time at Langan Engineering, Mr. Androutselis gained valuable construction field experience by leading a team which conducted a subsurface investigation for the biggest private real estate project in the history of the United States in Hudson Yards, New York. In addition, he was also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the foundation design of the world’s future tallest building, Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Androutselis was also analyzing vast amounts of subsurface exploration data, performing seismic hazard assessments and solving foundation engineering problems using advanced numerical modeling techniques.

Electric Utilities

Manage several electric transmission projects from initiating to close out and develop financial forecasts, project schedules and project status reports. Identify and mitigate project risks and produce business insights on portfolios key performance indicators.

Infrastructure

Worked in one of the biggest infrastructure public-private partnership projects in Greece: “Design, Construction, Financing, Operation and Exploitation of Elefsina-Korinthos-Patra-Tsakona motorway. Developed project plans and work schedules by setting milestones timelines with the expected deliverables. Created and automated budget report templates to facilitate data driven decision making and ensure continuous project funding.

Real Estate

Managed a team which conducted a subsurface investigation for the biggest private real estate project in the history of the United States in Hudson Yards, New York.

Liaised with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the foundation design of Signature Jakarta Tower ($250m) and world’s future tallest building Jeddah Tower ($2.2bn).

Led a team which identified project risks and produced geotechnical recommendations for New York City’s largest new affordable housing complex “Hunter’s Point South” ($500m) in Queens.
