Ms. Ayers has experience with program and project controls, as well as data management and analytics in the construction and maintenance of electric utility assets. She specializes in the development and implementation of centralized portfolio reporting frameworks. She currently supports a program management role consisting of preparing detailed financial reports and analyses, in addition to tracking and reporting the schedules and key performance indicators for nearly 40 projects. She has developed an automated, centralized reporting system used at the portfolio level and worked with multiple stakeholders to address client needs.
Prior to joining Exponent, Ms. Ayers received her M.S. in Sustainable Design & Construction from Stanford University to complement her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. Her specialization in her master's program was structural engineering. She took courses relating to construction accounting and finance, structural design, and project controls. Ms. Ayers' largest project during her master's degree program consisted of designing a three-story university building in Slovenia. During the design of this building, Ms. Ayers and her team had to comply with a set of requirements including, but not limited to, a maximum height, flooding concerns, seismic concerns, environmental concerns and certifications, and cost and procurement restrictions.
Ms. Ayers has worked as a project engineer intern with DPR Construction. Her responsibilities included managing sub-contractors, coordinating seven different mock-up models, and document control.

Developed an automated framework to report all financial metrics and key performance indicators for the full portfolio of electric transmission projects totaling over $500M. Consolidated and centralized data sources and outputs, therefore decreasing the time and inaccuracies existing in previous reporting methods. Improved upon the existing reports by considering stakeholder communication priorities and making the reports easily reproducible and thereby, more efficient. Utilized Tableau to create the automated framework.
Supports the management and day-to-day operation of an electric transmission program consisting of over 35 projects ranging from $4M to $19M. Executes reports to assess the financial health of the program. Uses to Primavera P6 to schedule and assess projects and determine their progress.
Designed structural system for a university building on an IPD project with a globally distributed design and construction team. Responsible for creating a building resistant to seismic forces and within certain environmental and financial thresholds. Utilized Revit and Navisworks to aid in design and construction visualization and planning.
