Ms. Gilmore has experience with project controls and currently supports Exponent’s project management expertise in the Construction Consulting practice, including preparing financial reports and analyses as well as tracking and reporting schedules.
Prior to joining Exponent, Ms. Gilmore received her M.S. in Sustainable Design and Construction from Stanford University with a specialization in construction management. She took courses related to advanced project scheduling and budgeting, construction accounting and finance, life cycle analysis, and construction law and claims. Ms. Gilmore’s largest project during her master’s program consisted of modeling and assessing the schedule, budget, cash flow, and other project controls for a $65 million bridge project in Southern California.
Additionally, Ms. Gilmore has interned for both a civil engineering and structural engineering firm. Her responsibilities included designing innovative and cost-effective solutions for unique and unusual construction challenges in the residential, industrial, and government sectors. She also prepared comprehensive engineering reports consistent with each client’s level of understanding as well as BIM and AutoCAD Civil3D models detailing the work to be completed.
