Dr. Hendricks specializes in the deposition and characterization of metal oxide thin films. Her expertise includes atomic layer deposition, failure analysis, electrochemical methods, and a variety of thin-film characterization techniques.

Dr. Hendricks was a Hertz Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Stanford University, completing her Ph.D. in 2018. Her researched bridged the fields of chemistry and materials science to study the corrosion resistance, catalytic activity, and electrical properties of transition metal oxide alloys for solar driven water oxidation. She is skilled in numerous surface-sensitive analytical methods, including X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy, X-ray reflectivity, and ellipsometry. She is also experienced in electrochemical methods, including electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
