Mr. Kongjan has experience in construction management, construction consulting and business management. He specializes in forensic delay analysis and is proficient in evaluating project baseline schedules, contemporaneous schedule updates and project documentation to establish data architecture for time, resource and costs to assist in the evaluation of delays and impacts to construction projects.

Mr. Kongjan is proficient in data analysis and evaluation of construction project records and job costs, including earned value management. He is adept in the preparation and management of baseline schedules and updates to spot trends, potential risks, and opportunities.

Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Kongjan was a consultant for Warner Construction Consultant Inc. He was responsible for providing technical support in translating and transferring data for comprehensive document databases development, coding, quality control, and maintenance to support detailed schedule analyses, damages analyses, claims preparation, claims defense, and negotiated settlements. Additionally, Mr. Kongjan was an engineer officer in the Royal Thai Army where he held several positions and worked on different types of military construction projects.

Supported dispute resolution team in cost and delay analysis representing a subcontractor on the Los Angeles Federal Courthouse, Los Angeles, California.

Reviewed monthly reports/schedules updates on the Herbert C. Hoover (U.S. Department of Commerce Headquarters building.) Renovation Project, Washington, DC.

Supported dispute resolution team for delay analysis and loss of productivity cost for a subcontractor for Santa Monica Community College, Santa Monica, California.

Supported time impact analysis for a General contractor in process of preparing request for equitable adjustment of an armored forced government project.

Gas and Electric: Created a comprehensive database of Contracts to streamline the reporting and management of contracts of a large gas and electric company. Assisted and supported team for identify potential risks, improving contracts control and management related to various form of contracts such as rail, technical study and utility relocation.

Water Treatment Facility: Supported schedule update process for Croton Water Treatment Plant, New York.

Wastewater Treatment Facility: Consolidated and structured data from litigation documentation to support cost verification and dispute resolution of City of Houston 90-inch sanitary sewer line and wastewater treatment plant repair.

Commercial High-Rise Building

Supported cost and delay analysis in supporting project-owner justification of terminating general contractor from project when the project was 80%+ complete due to inability to meet the substantial completion deadline in construction agreement.

Non-Construction project experience

In addition to construction projects, services have extended to food service industry such as planned, developed and implemented Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) for food service facility, developed training program for food service facilities operation to comply with local government food safety and environmental regulation, provided client-focused management and consultation for restaurant business throughout the business life cycle.
