Mr. LaDelfa has more than 5 years of experience in construction and engineering. He provides technical and strategic consultation in the construction management of electric and gas utility projects, power distribution and transmission, new building development, transportation infrastructure, renewable energy, and energy storage. He has experience in all phases of project management, including initiation, design, engineering review, cost estimation, budgeting, contractor management, inspection procedures, and project closeout.
Mr. LaDelfa has a proven track record of delivering dynamic and complex solutions to stakeholders. He has been successful in managing construction teams and fostering industry relationships. He is effective at assisting clients in growing their geographical footprint and is proficient with conflict resolution and de-escalation. His areas of expertise also include solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, battery storage systems, utility interconnection processes, portfolio management, and quality assurance.
Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. LaDelfa directed project management teams and gained valuable experience coordinating with international vendors. He built design standards and developed interdepartmental process improvements to prevent project delays. He has also worked significantly in contractor negotiation, partner selection, property acquisition, permitting, scheduling, field operations and maintenance, failure analysis, effective commissioning techniques, and contract review.
