Ms Hincapié holds a BSc in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from McGill University and a MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment from the University of Birmingham. Following her studies, Ms Hincapié acquired experience developing environmental, health and safety risk assessments and control-implementation plans of high-risk projects (e.g, working in highly toxic and flammable atmospheres and polluted environments). Ms Hincapié’s current work focuses on preparing environmental fate assessments in compliance with the EU biocides and chemicals (REACh) legislation. This work includes using environmental modeling software (such as EUSES) and chemical safety assessment and reporting tools (such as CHESAR and IUCLID).
