Ellie Moore, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. Ellie Moore is a licensed civil engineer specializing in structural analysis and design of new buildings and structures, seismic evaluation and retrofit design of existing buildings, fatigue analysis, and code compliance evaluations of structures and structural components. She has design and evaluation experience with commercial, industrial, and residential structures which include wind towers, power plants, water treatment facilities, and theme parks constructed of concrete, masonry, wood, and steel. Dr. Moore has performed analysis and design work on projects located throughout the United States that range from small facilities to structures with complicated geometries demanding non-linear modeling or sophisticated soil-structure interaction analyses.
Dr. Moore has successfully managed multi-disciplinary design work on projects with construction costs of over $1B with an emphasis on providing efficient and economical services to clients.
Dr. Moore’s doctoral dissertation was focused on developing accurate means of estimating the performance of a non-ductile concrete frame building when subjected to earthquake loading. The evaluation and retrofit of the subject building has received an award of excellence in structural engineering design from SEAOSC.
