Mr. Mouawad has over five years of international experience in infrastructure and utility construction. He oversaw complex, and high profile engineering and construction projects and overcame obstacles on projects by addressing financial constraints and complicated logistics.

Mr. Mouawad has experience in all phases of the construction process, including planning, design coordination, contracts, procurement, estimating, change order management, subcontract management, and construction field supervision. He has excelled in collaborating with clients, contractors, and government agencies to meet and exceed design, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

Mr. Mouawad has managed multi-disciplinary, international teams on various design-build contracts. He is experienced in investigating technical design and initiating corrective actions based on site conditions and contracts requirements. He successfully negotiated contracts to ensure the quality of construction and design.

At earlier stages of his career, Mr. Mouawad managed construction teams to accomplish work on schedule and on budget. He worked closely with international suppliers and procured required construction materials to ensure delivery dates. He has successfully resolved permitting and land acquisition issues that prevented project delays.

Project Experience

Performed cost estimating, schedule management and value engineering for various medium-to-large utility projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Supported business development, including pre-planning, budgeting, and interviewing for requests for proposals.

Managed a team of utility designers to finalize utilities design within 100% of the client deadline in one of the most iconic smart city projects in Qatar. Prepared technical documents to define the operation methodologies and materials. Administrated change orders and coordinated with site managers to perform the construction work within the required quality and schedule.

Developed and managed a general contractor’s project schedule for a 40-mile road and bridge construction project in Nigeria. Managed all operations of 100 employees on site on a daily basis and oversaw health and safety matters onsite. Prepared and submitted bill of quantities to client, including supporting documentations needed for approval.
