Ms Ogie is a science graduate and a highly competent research scientist who specialises in the regulatory compliance of cosmetic products. Ms Ogie has MSc’s in Biotechnology and Structural Molecular Biology. While working with senior researchers studying the effect of simvastin and apoptosis in cancer therapy and the expression of recombinant PR3 in vivo and the production of Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasm Antibody using in-vitro techniques with a view to understanding the pathogenic pathway of the PR3-ANCA complex in relation to Klinger's-Wegener's syndrome (an auto-immune disease). She was responsible handling data, preparing records and reports, and providing support in publishing their work.

An integral part of Ms. Ogie’s role is to offer Product Information File (PIF) management and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR), in compliance with EU Cosmetic Regulations 1223/2009, as well as providing advice on other aspects of personal care claims, supply chain, manufacture, sustainability, and international compliance. Prior to joining Exponent, Ms Ogie worked within the Global Brand Division for a major international health and beauty manufacturer and retailer as a Compliance Scientist. Ms Ogie provided compliance support to operations in the USA, South America and the Far East. Ms Ogie was also accountable for developing and implementing policies and processes to drive regulatory compliance for cosmetics, for sale in local and international markets. She has extensive knowledge of the cosmetic and toiletry industry; focused on cosmetic product regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs including REACh, formulation development, packaging technology, quality assurance across the supply chain, claim support and manufacturing in the Far East and locally.
